Filter Yellow E39 Black Leica

The Leica Yellow Filter E39 Black is a yellow colour filter designed for black-and-white photography, particularly with Leica M Monochrom cameras. It modifies the conversion of colours into greyscale values, subtly increasing contrast and enhancing the separation between different tones. Yellow and warm colours appear lighter, while complementary colours become darker, helping to bring out detail and definition in landscapes and portraits. Its multicoating reduces reflections and ensures high light transmission without vignetting.
