What if your music simply found its place in every room of your home?
At Liva, we design and install custom audio systems in Brussels, Antwerp and elsewhere in Belgium.
From a Hi-Fi installation in a living room to a multiroom system spread throughout your entire home, every project is built around acoustics, equipment selection and seamless integration into your home.
From design to commissioning of your audio system
- Project consultation: We define how you’ll use the system, the spaces involved, and your expectations in terms of sound and integration.
- System design: We determine the speaker configuration, amplification, sources and control, tailored to your interior.
- Installation and integration: Our team handles the installation of equipment, cabling and its integration into the architecture or furniture where the project calls for it.
- Calibration and commissioning: The system is configured and fine-tuned to ensure simple, everyday use and a consistent sound in every zone.

Hi-Fi in a living space
A Hi-Fi system can be designed around a single room, built for a truly focused listening experience. The choice of speakers, amplification and sources is tailored to the size of the space, its acoustics and the level of performance you're after. Depending on your interior, speakers can be left visible, integrated into furniture, or chosen to blend naturally into the room's design.

Multiroom throughout your home
Multiroom lets you play music across several rooms from a single system. The living room, kitchen, bedroom or home office can each work as independent zones, with their own volume and source. Multiple rooms can also be synced to play the same music throughout the house. The system is controlled from a smartphone, a tablet or a dedicated interface.
Speakers integrated into the architecture
The audio system is planned from the earliest design stages, to preserve the architecture and aesthetic of your interior.
- In-wall/in-ceiling speakers: Built into walls or ceilings, recessed speakers deliver great sound while staying completely discreet.
- Invisible speakers: For projects where discretion is essential, speakers can be hidden behind the finished surface of walls or ceilings.
- Furniture-integrated speakers: Speakers and electronics can also be housed in a bookcase, a cabinet or an architectural feature. Furniture can be specifically designed to accommodate audio equipment, while allowing for the necessary ventilation, cabling and accessibility.
Streaming options & audio sources
Today’s sound systems make it simple to access all your different music sources.
Depending on the configuration, services like Spotify, TIDAL, Apple Music or Qobuz can be integrated into the system and accessed from a single interface.
For Hi-Fi installations, we also select equipment compatible with high-resolution audio formats when this matches the level of performance you’re after.
The choice of sources, amplification and speakers is always made with the system as a whole in mind, rather than each element in isolation.
Music throughout your home
A sound installation can extend across every space in your home, with a setup tailored to each room. From the living room to the kitchen, bedrooms, home office or outdoor areas, every zone can have its own system or be part of a wider multiroom setup.
An audio project can also be part of a broader bespoke audiovisual installation, when several audio, video and other technologies need to be planned and integrated together throughout your home.

Living room, kitchen & dining room
In-wall, furniture-integrated or freestanding speakers allow sound to be tailored to each space. Every room can function as an independent zone or be synced with the others.

Bedrooms, home offices & bathrooms
A bedroom or home office can have its own audio system and its own volume control. In bathrooms and other damp environments, we select audio equipment suited to those conditions, so the system can be integrated discreetly and built to last.

Terrace & garden
Your audio system can extend outdoors too. Speakers built to withstand outdoor conditions can bring sound to a terrace, garden or poolside area. They're selected with exposure to rain, UV and temperature changes in mind. These spaces can be integrated into the multiroom system and function as independent zones.
Home Cinema
In some projects, the audio system is also integrated into a dedicated home cinema space. Speaker selection, placement and architectural integration can then be planned in line with the image and projection.
Simple control throughout your home
Your audio system can be controlled from a smartphone, a tablet or a dedicated interface. You can select a zone, adjust the volume, choose a source or sync several rooms, all from the same interface.
When the sound installation is integrated with home automation, scenes can also link music to other functions around your home.
For example, a “Morning” scene could start a playlist in the kitchen and dining room, while a “Leaving Home” scene automatically switches off any active audio zones.

FAQ
What audio system should I choose for my home?
The right choice depends mainly on how you'll use it, your expectations in terms of sound quality, and which rooms you want to equip.
A system can range from a dedicated Hi-Fi setup for focused listening in a single room, to a multiroom solution that fills the whole house with music, with equipment left visible, integrated, or fully hidden within the architecture.
At Liva, we design every audio installation around your interior, your listening habits, and the level of performance you're after.
What's the difference between a Hi-Fi installation and a multiroom system?
A Hi-Fi installation is primarily designed to deliver the best possible sound quality in a single room, with careful attention paid to speakers, amplification, sources and acoustics.
A multiroom system focuses on spreading music across several spaces in the home. Each room can play its own music or be synced with the others.
The two approaches aren't mutually exclusive. Liva can easily design a system combining high-end Hi-Fi listening in the main rooms with multiroom throughout the rest of the house.
How can I play music throughout my home?
With a multiroom audio installation, several rooms can be fitted with speakers and controlled independently or all together.
For example, you could play one playlist in the living room, another in the kitchen, and the radio in the bathroom, or play the same music throughout the house when you're entertaining.
Control is simple, from a smartphone, tablet, remote or smart home system.
What budget should I plan for a custom audio installation?
Budget depends on the number of rooms involved, the level of sound quality you're after, the type of speakers, amplification and how much integration you want.
A system can cover a single dedicated Hi-Fi room or an entire home with several indoor and outdoor audio zones.
After reviewing your needs, Liva puts together a coherent solution and can define a realistic budget for your project, without unnecessarily oversizing the installation.
Can speakers be built into walls or ceilings?
Yes. In-wall and in-ceiling speakers deliver excellent sound while staying particularly discreet.
They can be installed in walls or ceilings, and some solutions can become virtually invisible once integrated into the room's décor.
Liva plans their placement from the design stage, to achieve the best balance between sound quality, room coverage and aesthetics.
Can speakers be installed in a bathroom?
Yes, provided you use equipment suited to that environment.
Speakers specifically designed to withstand humidity and the demands of wet rooms are available. They can, for instance, be built into the ceiling to remain very discreet.
We select the right solutions based on the layout of the bathroom and their placement, while respecting the relevant technical and safety requirements.
Can you install an outdoor audio system?
Yes. A terrace, garden, pool area or any outdoor space can benefit from a full audio installation.
Speakers specifically built to withstand outdoor conditions are now widely available, and can be integrated discreetly into the architecture or landscaping.
Liva pays close attention to speaker placement, to achieve smooth, even sound coverage while limiting noise disturbance to neighbours as much as possible.
Can rooms or speakers be added after the initial installation?
Yes. An audio setup can generally be expanded over time to add new rooms, speakers or features. Wherever possible, we design installations with this future growth in mind, making later extensions easier while keeping the system consistent and simple to use as a whole.
Can audio be integrated with home automation?
Yes. Your audio system can be linked to your home's automation, making it even simpler to use.
Music can then be tied into various scenes: setting the mood for a dinner, playing music across multiple rooms when entertaining, switching everything off when you leave the house, or managing audio, lighting and blinds all together.
The goal is for the technology to fit naturally into your everyday life, without multiplying remotes and apps.
Can you listen to Spotify, Qobuz or TIDAL on a Hi-Fi system?
Yes. Hi-Fi solutions can integrate streaming services such as Spotify, Qobuz or TIDAL, depending on the equipment and configuration you choose. We select the sources and electronics suited to how you listen, with the option to also enjoy high-resolution audio formats when the system supports it.
