The XF400mmF4.5 R LM OIS WR combines a 400mm focal length (609mm full-frame equivalent) with an F4.5 aperture, ideal for distant and fast-moving subjects such as wildlife, motorsports and aircraft. Its 21-element, 14-group optical design with Super ED and ED elements delivers excellent resolution while minimising chromatic aberration. Compatible with Fujifilm teleconverters, it can reach up to 800mm.
Compact and highly portable design
Weighing just 1,245g, the XF400mmF4.5 delivers a 609mm full-frame equivalent field of view in a compact, well-balanced body. Its optimized center of gravity improves handling and reduces fatigue during extended handheld shooting. With 20 weather-sealed points, the lens is dust- and weather-resistant and operates in temperatures down to -10°C. A fluorine coating on the front element provides additional protection against water and smudges.
Powerful 5.5-stop image stabilization
The 5.5-stop optical image stabilisation system enables stable handheld shooting, even at super-telephoto focal lengths where camera shake is more noticeable.
Fast and precise autofocus
The internal focusing system and high-speed linear motor deliver fast, quiet and accurate autofocus, even when shooting fast-moving subjects at super-telephoto distances. A focus preset function allows you to instantly recall a predefined focus position, while the Focus Control Button provides quick access to selected AF functions. The focus limiter can also shorten focus acquisition time when shooting subjects more than 5 metres away.
