Summaron-M 28mm F/5.6 Silver Lens – Second Hand Leica
The Leica Summaron-M 28mm f/5.6 revives one of Leica’s most distinctive classic lens designs in a compact, modern M-mount version. Inspired by the original Summaron 28mm f/5.6, produced at the Leitz factory in Wetzlar between 1955 and 1963, it retains the original optical design while incorporating modern features. The lens features an M-bayonet mount, 6-bit coding and an updated mechanical construction. Its compact size and 28 mm focal length make it particularly suited to street, reportage, travel and everyday photography, while its distinctive rendering gives images a characteristic look.
